What are YOUR flowers saying?

Save the Florists

FTD.com and 1800Flowers.com have been summoned to appear before committees in the US. The charge is that they have sold their online customers’ names, email addresses and credit card numbers and collected huge commissions as a result.
Usually, what happens is that when a customer places an order, a box pops up asking if you’d like free delivery or a discount. If you click yes, then you will find recurring charges of $10 or more each month on your credit card for a “Club Membership.”
Visit the Real Florists blog to see the amazing amounts of money these companies have made.
It is always better to take the time to find a real florist, rather than an online order gatherer. Your money will be spent on the flowers, not “handling fees.” Your local economy will be helped. You will find friendly, personal service. Your information will be kept private. You won’t need to pick a “cookie cutter” arrangement. The flowers will be hand-designed and hand-delivered. The florist will make it right if you are dissatisfied for any reason.
Go ahead and order online – but be sure you have found a real, brick and mortar florist who is really located where you think they are!
